Car Collection
After leaving the baggage claim area make your way to the " MEETING POINT " in the middle of the Arrivals Lounge where you will find the "Goldcar Europa" office.

Petrol
The vehicles are delivered with a full tank of petrol.
Full tank values pre-payable, between 40 € and 100 € according to supplied model. Cars should be returned with an empty tank. The exception to this rule is for hire periods of 3 days or less when we credit the client's credit card with the equivalent value of the fuel left in the tank.
 
Insurance
The insurance is fully comprehensive (CDW), but replacement keys, undercarriage, traffic fines, all expenses and costs that arise from refuelling with the incorrect fuel and tyres or wheels are not covered under insurance. In case of damage the hirer is liable for such items. All thefts must be reported to the police and a copy of the report obtained. Personal effects cover is not included and you are recommended to ensure that these are covered by your travel insurance. If the car is loaded with more than the stated capacity or vehicles are taken "off-road" or drivers are found to be under the influence of alcohol or drugs, the insurance cover becomes invalid. In case of accident or collision client must fill up correctly the provided form (declaración amistosa de accidente de automóvil).

VERY IMPORTANT:
If there is a difference of more than 4 hours between arrival (collection of the car) and departure (return of the car) time you will be charged an additional day's rental. In other words, you are allowed 4 hours grace.

Age Limits

NOTE : YOUNG DRIVER SURCHARGE (OBLIGATORY FOR 21-24 YEARS OLD): 2 EUROS PER DAY (VAT INCLUDED). MAXIMUM CHARGE 28 EUROS PER RENTAL.

NOTE : THE CUSTOMERS WHO HAVE HELD THE DRIVING LICENSE FOR LESS THAN 4 YEARS WILL HAVE TO PAY A FEE OF 2€ PER DAY   (TAX INCLUDED) WITH A MAXIMUM CHARGE OF 28€ PER RENTAL.

Payment
Payment is made direct to the hire company on collection of the vehicle.
Drivers must be in possession of a valid credit card (Master Card, VISA Card or EC Card) or debit card. American Express Cards are not accepted. No cash payment accepted either. 

ADDITIONAL CHARGES

BABY SEATS: 3.00 EUROS PER DAY - MAXIMUM CHARGE 36 EUROS PER RENTAL

ADDITIONAL DRIVERS: 2€ PER DAY - MAXIMUM CHARGE 20 EUROS PER DRIVER - PER RENTAL

NE WAY RENTALS: 25 EUROS FOR ALL ONE-WAY RENTALS OF LESS THAN 7 DAYS. RENTALS OF 7 DAYS OR LONGER WILL BE FREE OF CHARGE:

LATE RETURN WILL BE PENALISED: 20 EUROS PER DAY + DAILY RENTAL RATE (IF NOT PROPERLY EXTENDED)

AN EXTRA CHARGE WILL BE APPLIED IF SPECIAL CLEANING OF THE CAR IS REQUIRED. (MINUMUM CHARGE 30 EUROS)

NOTE :

CLIENTS WILL BE ALLOWED TO TAKE THEIR CARS FROM MAJORCA TO OTHER BALEARIC ISLANDS BUT THEY WILL BE CHARGED AN ADDITIONAL INSURANCE OF 8.00 EUROS PER DAY WITH A MAXIMUM CHARGE OF 50 EUROS PER RENTAL.
